Schelby Days

I started teaching bilingual second grade in Livingston California in 1997. As I mentioned before, it was awesome. Our little school was K-2, two classes for each grade, making a total of six classes. Nice. Comfy cozy. Loved it. I loved my students, I loved their parents, I loved my colleagues. Schelby school was out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by orchards. I love to remember those days. I used to park right outside the back door to my classroom. Anyway. Looking at these pictures brings back a lot of fond memories. I look at the little faces in these pictures and my students' personalities practically jump out of the picture at me. Those were some of the good ol' days.
